When you are born with a name like Cobain attached to your ID papers, and you are the daughter of THAT Cobain and THAT Courtney Love, life could be rather hard. Especially if you wish to cut loose from that imaginary world that your parents have created.
Well, Frances Bean Cobain, a visual artist who has already debuted with a solo show, has managed to do it. The "bean" of the much-missed leader of Nirvana has become a true style icon, outstripping even her mother.
Not a too difficult task, to be honest, considering that in the clothes department Courtney Love has always shown a slightly "schizoid" attitude, shifting from ultra-chic to ultra-rough, and indulging in several nude-look moments, in the literary sense of the word (it is all largely documented on Twitter). Frances, with her flair for vintage clothing, revisited with original and unusual solutions, has already won over the heart of fashionistas (besides earning a shooting onHarper's Bazaar, realized by Jeff Riedel).
Frances, in our opinion, with her boho-chic look, unpredictable but always elegant, has all it takes to keep on playing the iconic role of the Cobain dynasty, this time maybe shifting it to the fashion world.
