The company was founded with the name "Onitzuka Tiger" in 1949 by the japanese Kihachiro Onitsuka. Were initially produced basket shoes and then thanks to the fusion with GTO and JELENK companies, occurred in the July of 1977, born the Asics COrporation. The name is the acronym of the latin phrase "Anima Sana In Corpore Sano". The Company produce footwear of all kinds: Shoes for soccer, athletics, volleyball, marcial arts, tennis, golf and many more.
